UPM Library Workshop Series 1: Sharpen Your Information Research Skills

UPM Library will be organizing a “UPM Library Workshop Series 1: Sharpen Your Information Research Skills” for all faculty members, lecturers, researchers and students as below:

Time: 9.00 am – 4.00 pm
Venue: Perpustakaan Sultan Abdul Samad.

This workshop will teach you how to search the library’s online catalogue, databases, e-journals, library research guides and many more.  This workshop will cover 3 training modules:

1. How to Build Up Skills to Use The Library Effectively
o What Should You Do Before Searching
o Develop an Effective Searching Strategies and Technique
o Cite It Right to Avoid Plagiarism

2. How to Find Information Sources
o Find Books And E-Books Fast : Use The Library Catalogue And Discovery@Lib
o Need Journal Articles : Use Online Database

3. How to Better Manage and Share Your Information
o Managing Reference Citations With Mendeley.
